Sean MacLellan has over 30 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Sean is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Swiftly since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Apptio from January 2020 to March 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer. Sean also had a role as a Senior Software Engineer at TEKsystems from August 2019 to December 2019, where they worked as a full stack Java developer on internal systems for Blue Origin. Previously, they worked as a Software Architect at OpenText from December 2018 to August 2019, and at Liaison Technologies from August 2012 to December 2018, where they maintained a multi-tenant cloud-based platform for business integration. Sean also worked at Hubspan as a Software Architect/Engineer from March 2001 to August 2012, building and maintaining a multi-tenant cloud-based platform for business integration. Earlier in their career, they worked at Vitessa as a Software Engineer from October 1998 to March 2001, implementing a cloud-based e-commerce order fulfillment system. Sean was also a Software Engineer at Platinum Solutions as a consultant from 1995 to 1998, and a Software Designer at Glenayre from June 1995 to November 1995, where they designed an email gateway to 2-way paging. Sean started their career as a Software Engineer at LexisNexis in 1990.

Sean MacLellan attended the University of Dayton from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
