Martin Koder has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as an AI Governance Lead at SWIFT since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Technology & Financial Services Policy Consultant starting in 2021. From 2012 to 2020, they were a Senior Manager of Regulatory Strategy at the London Stock Exchange Group, where they developed and implemented public policy influencing strategies for capital markets technology business ecosystems. Before that, they worked as a Stakeholder Manager at NEST from 2009 to 2012. Martin also held roles as an Account Director at Lansons from 2005 to 2009 and an Account Manager at Citigate Dewe Rogerson from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at The Leadership Institute in Washington DC in 1999 and as an Account Executive at DeHavilland from 1998 to 1999 during their gap year.

Martin Koder completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Government and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1999 and 2003. Martin then pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from City, University of London from 2020 to 2021. Martin has also obtained multiple certifications related to programming and data analysis from Coursera, including courses on Python, data structures, mathematics for machine learning, and applied machine learning.
