Carl Mansfield has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Carl is currently the Head of Commercial Solutions at Swell Energy since September 2020. Before that, from November 2018 to August 2020, they served as the VP of System Solutions at NantEnergy. Prior to NantEnergy, Carl was the General Manager and Founder of the Energy Systems and Services Group at Sharp Electronics Corporation from April 2014 to August 2018. Carl began their career at Sharp Laboratories of America in June 1998, where they held the role of Senior Manager until April 2014. Before joining Sharp, Carl was a Manager at Omnipoint Technologies from February 1996 to 1998. Carl'scareer started at BT, where they worked as a Senior Engineer from 1989 to 1996.

Carl Mansfield has a Master of Science degree in Telecoms Engineering from the University of London. Carl also holds a Master of Arts degree in Physics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge.
