Owen Monagan has a diverse work experience. Owen is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Sweeps, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Hinge as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer from July 2021 to March 2022, and as a Site Reliability Engineer from April 2020 to July 2021. At Hinge, they managed AWS infrastructure and upgraded CI/CD systems.

Owen also worked at Medidata Solutions as a Software Engineer (DevOps) from March 2019 to April 2020, where they developed scalable software for cloud-agnostic container-based CI/CD systems and infrastructure. Owen rewrote Medidata's image building tooling, which delivered over 50,000 production deployments annually.

Before that, Owen founded FPL-PLUGIN, a fantasy sports game for Premier League enthusiasts, and ran it from July 2018 to March 2020. Owen had approximately 1000 unique users weekly and organized an annual tournament with 32,000 participants.

Owen also worked at Axonista as a Software Engineer from October 2016 to June 2018. Owen served as a Scrum Master from January 2018 to May 2018 and as a Data Protection Officer from December 2017 to May 2018.

Furthermore, Owen founded CriServ, a social enterprise platform, and worked on it from October 2015 to December 2016. Owen secured seed funding and built a data analytics platform and synchronized application suite.

In addition, Owen had a role as a Promotional Representative at Raw Marketing and Events in May 2016 and as a Senior Swimming Instructor at Silton Swim School from June 2010 to September 2015. Owen started as a part-time substitute and was quickly promoted to full-time staff.

Lastly, Owen was a Software Engineer & Manager at tictoc platforms in 2015 and a Research Intern at Personal BlackBox Company, PBC in July-August 2014.

Owen Monagan's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Midleton College, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate in an unspecified field of study in 2012. Later, from 2012 to 2016, Owen pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Moderatorship in Computer Science and Business at Trinity College Dublin. In 2018, they briefly attended the Vamos Spanish Academy, earning a Certificate of Attendance in Spanish Language and Literature. Additionally, Owen holds a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, obtained from the Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK.
