Austin Jacobs is a Flavor Compounder and Flavorist in Training at Sweegen, where responsibilities include performing benchtop testing of new taste modulation flavors since June 2021. Previously, at Lief Labs from September 2018 to May 2020, Austin worked as a Product Development Coordinator, collaborating with sales and account management teams to create new formulas for various applications, as well as negotiating pricing with vendors. Prior experience also includes serving as a Research and Development Specialist and Flavor Lab Technician, preparing prototype samples and developing flavor profiles for clients in the supplement and nutraceuticals industry. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, earned in 2018.
