Bruce McNulty has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Swedish Covenant Hospital since August 2001, where responsibilities include education, informatics, and quality. Additionally, McNulty held the positions of Vice President of Swedish Medical Group and Physician Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, along with serving as President of Swedish Emergency Associates from January 2006 to December 2019. McNulty's academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Georgetown University (1982-1986) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from the University of Connecticut (1978-1982).
