Sam Maloney has held a range of positions in the legal field since 2003. Sam began their career as a Judge Advocate with the United States Department of the Army, before becoming an Assistant Prosecutor at the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Legal Researcher at MYERS, BRIER, & KELLY, L.L.P., and is currently employed as a Social Media Director at Sweda Advertising.

Sam Maloney attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD). Prior to that, they attended the University of Utah, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government.
