Gijs de Rooij is an Independent Strategy & Finance Professional at Sweav since December 2023, with extensive experience across various roles in leadership and strategic finance. Currently serving on the Supervisory Board of Z3Partners and as Director at Koeleman Beheer, Gijs previously held the position of Acting CFO at GX Group and CFO a.i. at MedApp Nederland. Notable past roles include Partner at RELAY Corporate Finance and Managing Director A.I. at EVConsult, where focus was on restructuring operations and strategic realignment. Gijs founded and served as CEO of LED Lease, a company specializing in light-as-a-service solutions. Additionally, advisory experience includes work with innogy Innovation Hub on smart city and IoT investments. Gijs holds an MBA in Finance and Negotiations from INSEAD and an MSc in Economics from the University of Groningen.
