Ryan Gross, M.A., RPA has extensive experience in the field of archaeology and cultural resources management. Ryan'smost recent role is as a Cultural Resources Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where they have been working since 2023. Previously, they worked at Kleinfelder as an Archaeologist / Project Manager from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Scientist - Archaeology Project Manager at Garcia & Associates in 2020. Ryan also served as an Archaeologist / Collections Specialist at Cultural Surveys Hawaii in 2019 and as an Associate Archaeologist at ASM Affiliates from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a Cultural Resources Manager / Field Director at LSA Associates, Inc. from 2015 to 2018. Ryan has also held various project-based roles, including Archaeological Technician at Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. from 2014 to 2016, Archaeological Technician at ASM Affiliates from 2015 to 2016, and Cultural Resources Specialist at Pacific Legacy, Inc. from 2014 to 2015. Ryan began their career as a Paleontology Laboratory Volunteer at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences from 2013 to 2014.

Ryan Gross, M.A., RPA has a strong educational background in Anthropology and Museum Studies. In 2005, they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from California State University, Chico. Following this, from 2008 to 2011, they obtained their Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies specializing in Collections Management and Registration from San Francisco State University.
