Melissa Katz-Moye has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental consulting and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Melissa started their career in 2003 as a GIS Technician at the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife. From 2003 to 2006, Melissa worked as a GIS Specialist at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. In 2006, they joined SWCA Environmental Consultants as a GIS Analyst and remained in this role until 2014 when they transitioned to a Full Stack Web Developer position within the same company. Most recently, Melissa has been serving as the Software Development Team Lead at SWCA Environmental Consultants since June 2021. Additionally, in 2012, they briefly worked as a NACIS organizer at the NACIS organization.
