Colton Claborn began their work experience in 2008 as an Outdoor Pursuit Staff member at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they assisted students with rock climbing activities and monitored resource center activities. In 2010, they worked as an Educator at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, where they interacted with guests and conducted educational tours throughout the park. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Post Office Clerk at St. Edward's University, assisting with daily operations and mail sorting. In 2014, Colton joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada as a Research Intern, focusing on comparing managed and unmanaged alvar habitats and contributing to a research paper. Since 2014, they have been working at SWCA Environmental Consultants in various roles, including Associate Project Biologist and Environmental Specialist, contributing to environmental projects.
Colton Claborn obtained a Master's Degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability from St. Edward's University, as well as another Master's Degree in the same field from Université catholique de l'Ouest. Prior to their Master's Degree, Colton Claborn earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Wildlife Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Furthermore, Colton Claborn has obtained certifications in First Aid CPR AED from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, and in Problem-Solving and Decision-Making in Geography from Elmhurst College.
