Timothy Davis has accumulated significant experience in the field of aerodynamics engineering. Timothy started their career as a Research Engineer at Florida State University in 2011, where they focused on experimental and computational fluid dynamics and aerodynamics. In 2017, they joined Callaway Golf as an Aerodynamics Engineer for a year before moving to Boom Supersonic in 2019. At Boom Supersonic, Timothy played a key role in the aerodynamic design and analysis of aircraft, specializing in high-speed aerodynamics and propulsion-airframe design and integration. Timothy also conducted CFD analysis, developed optimization techniques, and supported wind tunnel testing. In 2022, Timothy joined BLUE ORIGIN as an Aerodynamics Engineer, where they continued their work until 2023. Currently, they work at Swarm Aero as an Aerodynamics Engineer, starting in May 2023.
Timothy Davis completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Florida State University from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2011 to 2017.
