Gray King has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gray is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Swap.com, a thrift store focused on providing affordable and sustainable clothing options for families. As a Board Member at Swap.com, they also contribute to the strategic direction of the company. Previously, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at Paisley Recommerce Services. Prior to that, Gray was the President of The Jay Group, Ltd, where they led the company from August 2017 to April 2021. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in driving operational excellence. Gray also has extensive experience at The TJX Companies, Inc., where they held several positions, including District Manager, VP of Merchandise Manager, and Buyer. In these roles, they oversaw store operations, managed large accounts, and guided buying and allocation efforts. Before joining The TJX Companies, Gray was the Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of The Virginia Company / Va Wine of the Month Club. During their time there, they successfully tripled revenues by implementing a strategic plan across multiple channels, ultimately resulting in a successful sale of the business.
Gray King completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in politics from Wake Forest University. This occurred between 1996 and 2000. Later, between 2007 and 2009, Gray King pursued an MBA degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
