Jack Mules has a long and varied work experience. Jack began their career in 2009 as a Consulting Engineer - Acoustics and Vibration at Marshall Day Acoustics, where they were responsible for engineering consultancy, architectural design, and mechanical services system specification. In 2011, they moved to Eurotech Benelux BV as a Project Engineer - Mechanical Structures. In 2013, they took on the role of Technical Program Lead - Audio Systems at Tymphany. In 2014, they returned to Marshall Day Acoustics as a Consulting Engineer - Acoustics and Vibration, where they were responsible for delivering expert engineering consulting services, designing world-class theatres and performance spaces, and conducting room acoustics, sound insulation, vibration isolation, and low-noise building services design. In 2015, they moved to Music Life Limited as Vice-President of Engineering and Acoustics Lead, where they were responsible for audio system architecture, simulation, transducer selection, mechanical design, rapid-prototyping, and DSP tuning, as well as production line design and production line acoustic test system design. Most recently, in 2020, Jack Mules took on the role of Director of Product Management at SVS.
Jack Mules attended Duke University from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Engineering Management. Prior to that, they attended University of Canterbury from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. In 2010, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Education in Acoustics and Vibration from UNSW.
