Jorunn Cardell currently serves as the Head of System Stability Measures at Svenska kraftnät, focusing on medium-term system responsibilities related to frequency, voltage, rotor angle, and power electronics. Previous positions include Team Leader and Power System Specialist, where Jorunn led a team addressing grid stability issues and analyzed the balancing of the electricity grid within the New Nordic Balancing Model. Jorunn's earlier experience includes roles as an analyst at Waybler, a master thesis student at Nilar studying battery storage in the energy system, and various positions in retail and education. Jorunn holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Engineering from Lund University, complemented by studies at Politecnico di Milano and a high school diploma with a focus on marine biology.
