Tom Gederø has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tom started their career in 1998 as a Communications Advisor during their military service at the NATO Joint Warfare Centre Stavanger. In 2000, they worked as a Journalist and TV Reporter at TV Vest. From 2001 to 2013, they served as the Information Manager at Norsk olje og gass, where they likely handled various information-related tasks.
In 2013, Tom joined Eni as a Senior Communications Advisor, where they primarily focused on media relations, government and public relations, press releases, speeches, strategic counseling, emergency preparedness, publications, and web-related activities. Tom also played a crucial role in managing communication and stakeholder relationships for the Goliat project, the first oil field in the Barents Sea.
In 2015, they moved to Spirit Energy as a Communications Manager, responsible for overseeing communication strategies and activities. During their time at Spirit Energy, they managed a variety of communication tasks until their departure in June 2022.
Tom's most recent role is as the VP of Communications at Sval Energi, a position they started in June 2022.
