Ram Purna is an experienced project manager and engineer with a focus in assembly, new product development, and quality assurance. Currently serving as Project Manager at S&V Industries since March 2019, Ram designed an assembly line to enhance customer value. Prior roles include New Product Development and Quality Engineer at S&V Industries, collaborating with numerous non-automotive clients to launch engineered products. Ram's experience includes an internship in industrial engineering at Ignition Life Solutions, which involved implementing 5S methodologies, as well as a graduate research position at the University at Buffalo, focusing on advanced manufacturing processes. Earlier positions included roles at Mokon, Delphi-TVS, and Caterpillar Inc., where Ram achieved significant improvements in production efficiency and quality control. Ram holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University.
