Laima Widmer is the Vice President of Market Research at Suzy. Laima has over twenty-five years of experience in the field of marketing and market research.
Laima began their career as a Project Manager at Hamill Associates in 1994. Laima then worked at BAI Global and In Vision as an Assistant Vice President before joining Mastercard as a Director in 1999. In 2004, they joined Citigroup as Vice President of the Consumer Insights Group.
In 2007, Laima joined Kantar as Quant-Qual Practice Lead. Laima was responsible for their division’s revenue targets and oversaw a team of Quant Leads and managed a portfolio of client relationships. For these mixed methodology projects, they were responsible for their and their team’s success in delivering a high-level of consultative support during engagements. This included partnering closely with the moderator and client team to craft the most strategic questionnaire tailored to client objectives through the delivery of business-oriented insight.
Laima and their team of Kantar Quant Leads are senior level marketing / market research professionals with a tremendous depth of quant, qual, agency and client-side experience.
Laima Widmer earned a BA in Sociology from Queens College and an MS in Applied Social Research from Hunter College.
Laima Widmer reports to William Cimarosa, SVP, Market Research. and Amy YaWen Chiu - Director, Research Strategy reports to Laima Widmer. They work with and Mary Emerson Baker - VP, Market Research.
