Sami Rajala is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer at Suunto since September 2023, with a previous role as Android Specialist, Technical Lead, and Founder at A Coding Platypus Oy from October 2022 to August 2023. Before that, Sami was a Passionate Lead Developer at Vincit from April 2016 to October 2022. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Software Specialist at Sasken Finland Oy, where responsibilities encompassed mobile app development focusing on Windows, and as a Senior Software Engineer on various platforms including Symbian and Windows Phone 7. Sami's technical journey began as a Software Engineer at Ionific Ltd. and included a position as a Researcher Assistant at Tampere University of Technology, following an internship at Nokia Research Center. Sami holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Sciences from Tampere University of Technology, earned between August 2000 and May 2010.
