Johan Wolmarans is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and electronic engineering with extensive experience in energy storage and renewable technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist for Battery Energy Storage Systems at Sustainable Power Solutions since October 2022, Johan focuses on the development and integration of advanced battery storage technologies. Prior experience includes serving as the Lead for Energy Storage at Solareff, where commercial and technical leadership was provided for energy storage projects, and as a Channel Manager for Transactional Solar Products at Schneider Electric. Johan's career also includes roles as Chief Design Engineer at Telenetix Technology Solutions, Research and Development Engineer at Aeronamic B.V., and Researcher at Delft University of Technology, with a strong emphasis on aerospace applications and renewable energy systems. Johan holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
