Lucy C. is an accomplished professional in the field of energy research and technology, currently serving as Programme Manager for Research, Development & Demonstration at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) since August 2017. Lucy manages the SEAI National Energy Research, Development & Demonstration Funding Programme and represents Ireland at various European and international energy forums. Previous experience includes roles as a Design Engineer at J. B. Barry and Partners Limited and OpenHydro, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Trinity College Dublin, where Lucy earned a Ph.D. in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering. Recognized for excellence, Lucy received the Women in Data Science Award in 2019 and was selected as a Next Generation Women Leader by McKinsey & Company in 2016. Lucy also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from a consortium of top universities.
