Ilya Lyalin has over 20 years of software development experience. Ilya began their career in 2000 as a Software Developer at Stocona, where they participated in an anti-virus project. In 2003, they joined LSI Corporation as a Software Developer. In 2008, they moved to Smartek as a Software Developer, where they participated in the project of crypto protection of fare system of Moscow Metro. In 2009, they joined InterTrust Co. as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for architecture development, implementation and testing of the system of cryptographic protection of information. In 2010, they joined Align Technology as a Senior Software Developer and in 2021 they moved to SushiSwap as a Senior Software Developer.

Ilya Lyalin attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 1996 to 2004 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics.
