Michael Steiner is a seasoned professional in public policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Manager of State Policy and Advocacy for Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska at Susan G. Komen since 2022. In this role, Michael directs advocacy efforts related to breast cancer and public health, develops state-specific strategies, and maintains key relationships with legislators and healthcare executives. Prior to this position, Michael was the Chief of Staff for the Kansas House of Representatives, overseeing administrative functions and advising on legislative matters. With previous experience as the Director of Government and Community Relations at Saint Luke's Health System and as a Research Analyst for the Kansas Legislative Research Department, Michael brings extensive knowledge in legislative processes, government relations, and healthcare policy.
