Marissa O'Donnell has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on corporate and foundation partnerships. Marissa currently works at Susan G. Komen as the Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships, where they lead a team in building national corporate partnerships. Prior to this role, Marissa worked at Boys & Girls Clubs of America as the Director of Corporate and Cause Partnerships, where they successfully secured significant revenue through corporate partnerships. Marissa also served as the Director of Marketing, Health and Wellness at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Earlier in their career, Marissa worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where they held various roles in fundraising events, eventually becoming the Associate Director. Marissa played a key role in growing revenue and developing corporate partnerships for the Cycle for Survival movement. Before entering the non-profit sector, Marissa worked as an Account Executive at BMC Communications Group, LLC, managing public relations efforts for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical devices clients.
Marissa O'Donnell pursued their education by completing a bachelor's degree in Communications and Public Relations from Marist College. Marissa attended this institution from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2011 to 2015, they pursued a master's degree in Fundraising and Grantmaking from New York University.
