Leia Brune has extensive experience in nonprofit management and event coordination, currently serving as the Executive Director at Susan G. Komen since October 2020, after previously holding the role of Director of Development. Prior to this, Leia Brune worked as the Events and Volunteer Engagement Manager at Susan G. Komen San Diego, and as a Wedding and Event Coordinator at Bliss Events. Additional roles include Member Services Director at Naval Helicopter Association, Inc., Wedding Planner at Sara Gillianne Weddings & Events, and Donor Services Manager at WSRE. Educationally, Leia Brune holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of West Florida, earned between 2005 and 2008.
