Allan Skovlund Nielsen is an experienced professional in the Marine Industry with over 35 years of expertise. Currently serving as Managing Director and Partner at UAB "Danavis" since December 2014 and General Manager at Survey Association of 1914 Ltd. since August 2021, Allan has held various leadership roles including Technical Superintendent at Uni-Tankers A/S and Technical Manager at M. H. Simonsen ApS, overseeing technical departments and fleet management. Previous positions include Owner and Managing Director at Hornstrup A/S and Technical Director at Svithoid Tankers. Allan's education includes a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering, along with qualifications in marine surveying and cargo surveying from Lloyd's Maritime Academy. Allan also has sea-going experience, including service in the Danish Navy, where an education as a Marine Diver was completed.
