Napoleon Garcia currently serves as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer for the State Universities Retirement System, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, significant experience includes a tenure at Lewis University where roles encompassed Interim Chief Information Officer and Executive Director of Technology Support & Operations, with responsibilities in budget oversight, technology resource merging, and governance participation. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, along with a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
