Dana Ebtekar has extensive experience in education and military training, currently serving as a Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer (Second Lieutenant) with the Canadian Armed Forces since January 2021, where responsibilities include instructing cadets and managing administrative tasks. In the field of education, Dana has held various teaching roles within Surrey Schools, including Science Teacher, Life Skills Teacher, and B.A.S.E.S Teacher, while also serving as a Track and Field Coordinator and coach. Additionally, Dana is Chief Operating Officer at the Theatrical Arts Education Association of Canada and involved with IATSE Local 118 as a Permittee Technician. Academically, Dana holds a Master of Science in Mental Health in Children and Young People from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Education from The University of British Columbia, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Fine and Performing Arts from Simon Fraser University.
