Ami Kambo is an experienced educator with a focus on social justice and diversity in education. Currently serving as the Chair of the Diversity Equity Inclusion Decolonization committee at Fraser Heights Secondary School since September 2020, Ami also works as a Resource Evaluator for Focused Education Resources and has been a Social Justice/English Teacher at Surrey Schools since May 2002. Additional roles include Summer School Teacher for at-risk students and previous positions as a Curriculum Developer for the Justice Education Society and School Associate at Simon Fraser University. Ami holds a Bachelor of Education in English Language and Literature from Simon Fraser University and a Master's degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from the University of Phoenix.
