Jennifer Allan is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong background in strategic communication and media relations. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Surrey Place since September 2019, Jennifer has previously held multiple roles, including Communications Manager and Communications Advisor. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Advisor and Media Relations Coordinator at Trillium Gift of Life Network, where organizational messaging and media strategy were managed for Ontario’s organ and tissue donation agency. Jennifer's career also features a role as Communications Coordinator at Kids Help Phone, focusing on media relations and strategic communications, and as PR & Publicity Coordinator at Free The Children, where event execution and stakeholder engagement were key responsibilities. Jennifer holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a Minor in Business from Brock University, complemented by additional studies at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
