Trey W. is a seasoned gaming industry professional with extensive experience in leadership and creative roles. Currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Surreal Games since July 2023, Trey previously held the position of VP and General Manager of Games at Niantic, Inc. from July 2018 to July 2023, after serving as Sr. Director of Games. Additional experience includes co-founding Seismic Games and Grue Games, and holding key director positions at Activision and Pandemic Studios. Trey W. began the career in game design at Activision, evolving from Director and Lead Game Designer to Studio Creative Director. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Television from UCLA, obtained in June 1998.
