Visa Sippola has extensive experience in the medical field, particularly in the development of solutions to protect soft structures during surgery. Visa is the CEO and Co-Founder of Surgify Medical Oy, where they focus on developing innovative techniques to prevent complications such as bleeding, infections, and nerve injuries. Prior to this, Sippola served as the Chairman and Board Member of Säästöpöllö Oy. Visa also held positions at Aalto University as the Project Coordinator and Medical Chief for the SURGIFY project, as well as at the University of Helsinki and the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) as a researcher and assistant teacher respectively.
Visa Sippola started their education at Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu (SYK) from 2002 to 2009. After that, they attended Ressu High School from 2009 to 2012. During their time at Ressu High School, they also joined Sibelius-Akatemia - Sibelius-Akademin from 2004 to 2012 in the Youth Department for Solo Piano. In 2012, Visa Sippola enrolled at the University of Helsinki for their Bachelor's degree in Medicine (MB), which they completed in 2015. Visa continued their studies at the same university and received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, in 2013 and 2014, Visa Sippola attended the Finnish Air Force for the Reserve Flight Officer Course.
