Luke Eastwood has had a diverse work experience in various industries. Luke co-founded and served as the COO at Surgery Hero, a digital clinic for surgery that aims to help people on their journey to a healthier life. Previously, they worked as a Barrister at Law at The Bar Library. Luke also served as a Data Protection Officer at Huma, a company focused on connecting patients, doctors, and healthcare providers to create a world where people can live longer. Luke played a key role in Huma's growth and fundraising activities. Additionally, Luke co-founded Spacehop and served as the COO, helping to establish and develop the company until 2018.

Luke Eastwood attended Queens University Belfast from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. Luke then pursued further education at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies from 2011 to 2013, earning a Bar Practising Certificate in Law. In terms of additional certifications, Luke obtained a Certified 27001 ISMS Lead Implementer from IBITGQ in September 2019, and a Certified Data Protection Officier (C-DPO) from the same institution in August 2019. Most recently, they acquired a Certified HIPAA Privacy Security Expert certification from HIPAA Training in November 2022.
