Patrick Poirier currently serves as the Responsable de la division des infrastructures and previously the Responsable de la division de la gestion de la bureautique et des progiciels at Sûreté du Québec since January 2023. Patrick's responsibilities include ensuring the availability and efficiency of IT infrastructure, designing technological infrastructures in alignment with security standards, and managing database administration. Prior to this role, Patrick Poirier held various significant positions such as Chef de service des infrastructures informatiques and Chef de service gestion des configurations et déploiements at CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l'Île-de-Montréal, and had project management roles at Financière Fairstone and Banque Nationale. Earlier, Patrick Poirier coordinated operations in information resources at CSSS de Laval and led the IT department at Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal, significantly enhancing IT systems and infrastructure. Patrick Poirier began a professional journey in IT project coordination at Ministère famille et enfance and continues to advance in the field while pursuing a degree in Accounting at UQAM.
