Erica Corgel

Director, Assistant Controller at Surescripts

Erica Corgel has a diverse work experience. From 2018 to present, they have worked at Surescripts as an Accounting Operations Manager. In this role, they oversee various functions such as procurement, payables, and payroll. Erica is responsible for managing travel and expense programs, implementing strategic spend initiatives, and handling payroll integrations resulting from a switch to the hybrid model. Prior to Surescripts, Erica worked at RSM US LLP from 2013 to 2018 as an Assurance Manager. Here, they provided assurance, tax, and consulting services to clients, focusing on middle-market businesses. Before that, Erica was a Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University in 2012 and an Intern at Testone, Marshall & Discenza, LLP from 2010 to 2011.

Erica Corgel obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management in 2012. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo, which they completed between 2008 and 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Erica became a Certified Public Accountant through the Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA) in October 2013.
