Beatriz Novais has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product design, software development, and web design. Beatriz currently works as a Product Designer at Supernova.io since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelancer from 2019, focusing on product design. Beatriz also has experience as a Software Developer at Critical TechWorks from February 2021 to March 2022. Additionally, they worked at INUP from 2017 to 2020, where they held the positions of Product Design Manager, Service Designer, and Lead Product Designer. Before that, Beatriz worked as a Freelancer from 2014, specializing in web design, graphic design, and web development.
Beatriz Novais has a diverse education history. In 2009, they obtained a Bilingual Diploma in International Baccalaureate Arts & Business from Oporto British School. Following that, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Licenciatura in Línguas Literaturas e Culturas Bidisciplinar de Inglês e Espanhol at Universidade do Porto.
In 2011, Beatriz attended Escola Superior de Artes e Design, where they engaged in a three-year program studying Licenciatura Design de Comunicação. Beatriz then enrolled at MODATEX from 2018 to 2019, focusing on Technical Industrial Weaving & Textile Design, specifically Técnicas de Debuxo Para Sistemas Dobby & Jacquard (I & II).
In 2020, Beatriz continued their education in the field of User Experience, attending both the UX Foundations Workshop and the UX for Emotions Workshop at EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education. Simultaneously, they pursued a degree in Engenharia de Software, specializing in Full-Stack Web Development with a focus on Agile, Scrum, Angular, PHP, and MySQL at FLAG.
Additionally, Beatriz has obtained various certifications throughout their education journey. In 2009, they received a Diploma in Painting in Contemporary Practice from UCL. In 2010, at Universidade do Porto, they completed the Laboratória de Fotografia I & II courses. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Software Development From A to Z - OOP, UML, Agile and more in June 2020, and Programming 101 in January 2020, both from Udemy.
