Carmel Hagen has an extensive work history in the field of brand strategy. Carmel began their career in 2008 as a Digital Strategist at Pure Brand Communications. Carmel then moved on to OneRiot, where they held two roles: Marketing Manager and Director of Brand Partnerships. In 2011, they became CMO and Partner at COMMON, where they co-founded and produced COMMON Pitch, a global event series. In 2013, they joined Aviary, part of the Adobe Family, as VP Brand Strategy. Here, they successfully monetized an international network of mobile photography apps with 70 million users and grew yearly revenue from 200k to $4 million in two years. In 2015, they founded and became CEO of Supernatural Inc.
Carmel Hagen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2007, majoring in Journalism, Advertising and English. In 2011, they obtained a Certified Yoga Instructor certification from Corepower Yoga.
