Marcos Alexandre has extensive experience in public service, having worked at SDS/PE since January 1989 in the role of Funcionario Publico and also serving as Coordenador Setorial at SDS during the same period. In addition to a lengthy career in public administration, Marcos Alexandre holds a degree in Direito, Processo Penal from Universidade Salgado de Oliveira, Recife/Pe., earned between 2005 and 2010.
