Jennifer is the Vice President of Materials and Quality for Superior Bowen. As part of her duties, Jennifer oversees the materials section, the asphalt plant manufacturing facilities, as well as the quality control department. She came to work for Superior Bowen in 1996 after graduating from the University of Missouri – Rolla with majors in Geology, Geophysics, and Geological Engineering. Jennifer is a member of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologist and serves on the MoDOT Technical Advisory Committee as well as the MoDOT Bituminous Quality Circle. Jennifer has presented for several DOT and local agencies on Best Practices for Paving and Inspection, Advancements in the Asphalt Industry, as well as Asphalt Design Procedures. Jennifer regularly attends the Transportation Research Board and other industry leading seminars to ensure Superior Bowen remains a leader in the use of cutting-edge technology. She holds certifications with NCAT, Asphalt Institute, MoDOT, and KDOT in material testing, design, and inspection. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys her children’s activities, baking, and an occasional motorcycle ride.
