Joey G. started their work experience in 2013 as a Produce Clerk at Pick 'n Save. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Tool Rental Pro at The Home Depot. In 2019, Joey was a Network Engineer Intern at Quad. Joey then worked at Uline from 2020 to 2022, initially as an Associate Software Developer and later as a Software Developer. In 2022, they joined Network Perception as a Software Engineer. Currently, since 2023, Joey is a Founding Software Engineer at Superblocks.

Joey G. completed their Bachelor's Degree in IT Management and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they attended from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School from 2011 to 2015, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Joey G. has obtained several certifications. In November 2019, they became a Mendix Rapid Developer through certification from Mendix. In October 2020, they completed the Crash Course on Python through Coursera. Continuing their Python expertise, they obtained the PCAP - Certified Associate in Python Programming certification from the Python Institute in September 2022. Most recently, in January 2023, they achieved the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification from HashiCorp.
