Daniel Imas is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, where responsibilities include practicing Emergency Medicine and teaching residents and medical students. Daniel also serves as the Director of Physician Scheduling for the SUNY Downstate Emergency Department. Previously, Daniel was a Resident Physician at NYU Langone Health from July 2019 to June 2023. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rice University. Additional experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant in General Chemistry at Rice University and an Assistant Debate Coach at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, along with internships and research positions in various scientific and medical settings.
