Matthew O'Rourke C.Eng P.Eng is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in utilities and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Utilities at Sunshine Coast Regional District since February 2023, Matthew has previously held the position of Project Engineer at Onsite Engineering Ltd. from March 2019 to January 2023, and Civil Engineer at Jacobs from September 2016 to March 2019. Earlier in the career, Matthew worked as an Engineer specializing in Water and Wastewater at Opus DaytonKnight Consultants Ltd. from January 2012 to September 2016, and as a Project Coordinator at Jasper Constructors from September 2010 to December 2011. Matthew holds an MSc in Water Resources & Catchment Management from Heriot-Watt University (2009-2010) and a BE in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin (2005-2009).
