Adam Wheeler

Adam Wheeler has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies.

Adam started their career at Clipper Ventures/Zapcat Racing, where they worked as a Project and Operations Supervisor from 2003 to 2006. In this role, they reported directly to the Chairman, CEO, and FD, and was responsible for various project management and operational tasks, including commissioning new race fleets, IT management, contract negotiation, and facilities maintenance.

Following this, Adam joined Sunseeker International Ltd in 2006, where they held multiple roles. Adam started as a Product Support Engineer in the Warranty Department, responsible for quality control, technical support, and customer service. Adam later became a Product Support Engineer for production at all sites, handling continuous improvement and work organization. Adam then moved on to become a Product Support Manager, overseeing technical, manufacturing, systems, and quality management for sub 70ft models. Adam eventually became the Product Support & Moulding Manager, responsible for the majority of moulding and first stage activities, as well as Deputy Site Manager duties.

Adam'smost recent role at Sunseeker International Ltd is Head of Design Operations & Engineering Management, where they currently serve.

Adam Wheeler attended John Taylor High School from 1990 to 1997. Adam then went on to study at Solent University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Yacht & Powercraft Design. Adam continued their education at Solent University from 1999 to 2002 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Yacht Manufacturing & Surveying. In addition to their formal education, Adam has obtained various certifications including CMI Level 5 - Management Excellence, Managing Difficult People, and Finance for Non-financial managers from CMI. Adam also holds RYA Certificates in Powerboat levels 2, 3, 4, ICC, CEVNI & VHF from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).
