Vivian Ong is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Project Planning & Oversight Manager for EDP Renewables APAC since October 2023, where leadership in project planning and integration of various project teams has enhanced productivity and scalability. Prior experience includes Head of Renewable Asset Management & Services at Ditrolic Energy, overseeing compliance and O&M for 320 MWp PV plants across South Asia, and Technical Operations Manager at Rankon Power Engineering & Services, where the O&M business was initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles also encompass Technical Quality Manager and Power System Protection Engineer at Tenaga Nasional Berhad, focusing on project technical management and maintenance strategies, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a diploma in the same field from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka.
