Simon Franklin is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Country Director at EDP Renewables APAC since January 2024. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at IT Power (Australia) from January 2008 to January 2024, including Managing Director and Engineering Manager. Simon's career began as an Electrical Engineer at Aurecon from January 2007 to January 2008 and as a Research Assistant at CO2CRC from April 2006 to January 2007. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering with a focus on Sustainability Studies from The Australian National University, earned between 2002 and 2006.
