Alexander Zahariev has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different roles and industries. Alexander is currently the Head of Strategy at SUNOTEC since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte as a Director of Financial Advisory from June 2019 to April 2022 and as an Assistant Director of Financial Advisory from May 2015 to May 2019. Before their tenure at Deloitte, Alexander held the position of Director of Corporate Finance at First Financial Brokerage House from July 2010 to May 2015. Alexander also served as the Manager of the M&A Department at EuroHold Bulgaria from January 2008 to July 2010 and as an Associate at Forem Consulting from March 2006 to December 2007. Overall, Alexander has proven expertise in strategy, financial advisory, corporate finance, and M&A.

Alexander Zahariev has a BSc and MSc in an unspecified field of study from Universitet za nacionalno i svetovno stopanstvo, which they obtained from 1996 to 2004. Alexander also completed Level I of the CFA Institute in 2007-2008. Zahariev attended Deloitte CE in 2017-2018 and Deloitte University Europe from 2015 to 2019, where they studied Finance, General and Organizational Leadership, respectively.
