Alex Herrera has extensive teaching experience in social sciences and education, currently serving as a Teacher for Sunnyvale School District since August 2019 and as a Social Science Teacher at Redwood High School since July 2017, where US History and Government are taught. Prior experience includes teaching Contemporary World Studies and Modern World History at San Mateo High School from August 2016 to June 2017, as well as theology at Moreau Catholic High School from August 2014 to June 2016. Alex Herrera holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University - East Bay, obtained between 2002 and 2009.
