Joey Forrest has extensive work experience in procurement and category management. Joey has held roles in various companies, including Sunnova Energy, where they are currently working as a Senior Director of Procurement. Prior to that, they worked at CenterPoint Energy as a Manager of Category Management, High Voltage, and Generation. Joey has also worked at BHP in various roles, such as Global Manager of Category Management, Enterprise Indirect Procurement, and Principal Category Manager, Enterprise Information Technology. Additionally, they have experience in managing logistics and production, as well as purchasing and supply roles. Before their career in procurement, Joey worked as an attorney in law firms, including Forrest & Harrison LLC, Mann & Stevens PC, and Butler & Hailey PC. Joey also gained valuable experience as an intern at the United States District Court.

Joey Forrest holds a JD degree from St. Mary's University School of Law and a BA in Communication/Economics from Texas State University. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Team Management, Delegating, and Time Management from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning, a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply Management, and Supply Chain Analytics from MITx on edX.
