Shamor Paul, P.Eng., is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. As the Founding Principal of Sunly Energy since September 2019, Shamor Paul has established a strong company presence. In the role of Director of Business Operations and Director of EPC Operations at GP JOULE Canada Corp. since December 2018, Shamor Paul has successfully overseen project and construction management while improving operational standards and processes. Previously, as Managing Partner at Grasshopper Solar from June 2009 to April 2018, Shamor Paul played a pivotal role in growing the startup into a leading solar company in Canada, overseeing the expansion of the Project Management Department and enhancing project proposal processes through innovative software solutions. Shamor Paul began a professional career as a Design Engineer at SCS Consulting Group Ltd. in 2008 and previously worked as a Project Coordinator at Mattamy Homes. Shamor Paul holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
