Matt McCoy is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Risk Management at Sunlight Financial since October 2018, where responsibilities include setting the risk management strategy and overseeing various risk-related functions. Prior to Sunlight Financial, Matt held the position of Head of Risk Management at PNC from October 2011 to October 2018 and served as VP Quantitative Group Lead at Citigroup from May 2006 to October 2011, managing substantial portfolios and developing risk management policies and strategies. Matt's career began at MBNA America/Bank of America, with roles advancing from Credit Analyst to Sr. Risk Analyst. Academically, Matt holds an M.B.A. from the University of Delaware and a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
